The Payaya Indians of Southern Texas

by T. N. Campbell

This is a reprint of the 1975 edition by the Southern Texas Archeology Association. The Payaya lived around present day San Antonio. This is one of the few papers on a specific Coahuiltecan band. Campbell did it just to show how much information could be collected on one Coahuiultecan band -- something many people would say cannot be done. It is short at 30 pages. About a third of it is about the sources used.

We have a limited number of these. While they last.
